MFA Thesis Shows Continue with Jason Childers and Wendell Brunious!

The UNO-St. Claude Gallery is excited to continue its series of Master of Fine Arts Thesis exhibitions for the Spring 2013 semester.  Jason Childers will exhibit multi media sculpture in his one-person exhibit, “Peripheral Recognition.” Childers’ work hinges on a deep exploration of the everyday and the tenuous relationships between artist, object, art, and life. Wendell Brunious also takes inspiration from the everyday, as his paintings blend commercial imagery with abstract form. The works in his one-person show, “Influxx,” are bright, active fields of color resulting from his combination of these seemingly disparate forms.  The exhibits will be held concurrently, from February 8 – March 2, 2014.  Please join us for the opening receptions on February 8 from 6-9 p.m.
